ROAD & TRAVEL Magazine Announces
10th Annual 'Sexy Cars' for 2006

DETROIT - June 6, 2006 - ROAD & TRAVEL Magazine (RTM) announced today the chosen few for its 10th Annual Sexy Car Buyer's Guide. The top 10 sexiest, hottest, wildest wheels to make the 2006 most sexy list are the: Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, BMW Z4, Hyundai Tiburon, Honda S2000, Mazda MX-5 Miata, Mercedes-Benz SLK, Nissan 350Z Roadster, the Dodge Charger (the only 4-seater to make the pack), and newcomer Pontiac Solstice.

The Pontiac Solstice stole our jury's heart making it ICOTY's 2006 "Most Sex Appeal" award winner. The Dodge Charger took top prize as the International Car of the Year for 2006. The Nissan 350Z won Road & Travel Magazine's 2nd annual HEART STRING Award for best car commercial.

RTM's 10th Annual Sexy Car Buyer's Guide is showcased in the June issue (www.roadandtravel.com) with a full review on why each sizzles and satisfies. Test driving the outrageous roadsters revved up RTM editors leaving them reeling and writhing for more.

Eligibility and criteria are simple; pure sex appeal. "Sports Cars are all about the sensations they inspire from how the supple leather feels on our skin to its aromatic splendor, from the youthful spirit felt driving one to the sun on our back and wind in our hair," says RTM's Editor-in-chief Courtney Caldwell. "Sports cars are about fantasy and image. Just looking at them incites erotic thoughts and visions of grandeur. Owning one turns those images into reality!" she muses.

Although its primary audience is women, RTM provides content and resources from which 'every consumer' can make informed and intelligent decisions regarding their automotive purchases, travel plans and/or personal safety needs. And although RTM doesn't target the enthusiast market, when it comes to sports cars, everyone is a passionate enthusiast even if only in fantasy.

RTM projects 15 million impressions for 2006, an increase from its 10 million recorded in 2005. RTM's unique visitor total is also expected to rise to 5 million in 2006 compared to 3.4 million in 2005 (Web Stats).
