Shorter Flights : Now Require Fewer Advantage Miles

American Airlines has just made it easier for customers to qualify for their next award trip. With new short-haul MileSAAversm awards, customers can fly nonstop with fewer miles between cities such as Dallas/Fort Worth-New Orleans, Chicago-Atlanta, Chicago-Toronto, San Diego-San Jose and Boston-Raleigh/Durham.

These routes - and many more nonstop routes under 750 air miles one way within the continental United States and Canada - are now available for a reduced number of American Airlines AAdvantage® miles when you book your award on the AA.com Web site. Economy Class round-trip awards are available for just 15,000 miles, a 10,000-mile savings. First or Business Class round-trip awards are available for only 30,000 miles, a savings of 15,000 miles.

This special award is valid for nonstop short haul flights operated by American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection® carriers in the continental U.S. and Canada. Short-haul MileSAAver awards are available for travel through February 28, 2005.

"This special offer responds to customer suggestions and feedback from our employees to give AAdvantage members even more ways to redeem their miles," said Kurt Stache, President- American Airlines AAdvantage Marketing Programs. "We want our customers to be able to use their miles whenever they travel - whether it's a short trip to visit Mom or the long-anticipated trip to Paris. Through this program, we are able to offer passengers more options to use their AAdvantage miles." For more information on our short-haul markets go to www.aa.com/shorthauls, or go to www.aa.com to book your award.
