What are the ICOTY Awards?

Presented with the flair of the Academy Awards, the International Car of the Year Awards (ICOTY) honor automakers for the most lifestyle compatible vehicles of the new model year.

"The theme on which vehicles are judged represents the emotional connection people have with ownership,” says ICOTY Awards producer, Courtney Caldwell. “Rather than power and performance the awards are based on how vehicles reflect personality and profession.”

Winning automakers have publicized their awards in a variety of media such as Forbes, US News & World Report, Newsweek, Time, WSJ, and USA Today, as well as the Discovery Channel and A&E.

What is the Earth Angel Award?

The mission of the Earth Angel Award is to shed light on the many positive environmental contributions automakers are making on a global level. The goal is to help enlighten consumers and media alike.

Factors considered by the ICOTY Awards Jury for the Earth Angel Award include progress on environmental initiatives sponsored or supported by the automaker and their position and mission on global warming.

Introducing the
EARTH, WIND & POWER AWARDS
In addition to reducing the energy they consume by using greener power supplies most automakers have developed more fuel efficient vehicles including hybrid, electric, diesel, flex-fuel and ethanol (E85).

The EWP Car and Truck of the Year will each be judged on how well its power source contributes to the reduction of global warming; and thereby improving the earth's environment and our quality of life. Possess the Power to Protect our Planet!
